UPS contract worker fighting for his life after conveyor belt accident, officials say

A male is defending his life after getting captured in a conveyor belt at a United Parcel Service center in Kansas City, Missouri, officials stated.

Emergency situation crews were dispatched to the scene on Monday evening and found the male unresponsive. They eliminated him from the factory belt and carried him to a regional healthcare facility for treatment of life-threatening injuries, according to the Kansas City Missouri Police Department.

His identity and current condition was unidentified.

Authorities informed ABC News that there is no criminal examination underway, suggesting the incident was a freak accident.

When requested discuss Tuesday early morning, a UPS spokesperson informed ABC News, “We are extremely concerned for our supplier’s staff member, who was maintaining devices at one of our centers. We are working with the responding authorities in their examination.”.
